movies ... movies ... movies ...

My day started this morning with preparation and a bag full of goodies for our day at the movies .... I had the movies and times all planned out for the entire day :



The first movie was Gaylynn, Shari, and I. We saw Did You Hear About the Morgans (which wasn't that great and Hugh Grant drives me crazy)



Then the 2nd movie was just Shari and I for Invictus. The storyline was great and I really did enjoy the movie. Afterwards Shari and I went to Chevy's for lunch. When we were headed back to the theatre for the 3rd movie, It's Complicated, I got a call from Gaylynn that she was comming back to join us for the rest of the day. We ended up seeing Brothers as the last movie for the day. So .... 4 movies total !













We got a lil silly towards the end of the night but we had a great day. We always find laughter no matter what or where we go. I'm looking forward to doing this ALL OVER again next year for the 3rd annual traditional.

2nd ANNUAL "A Day at the Movies"

This year I'll be carrying on the great tradition that was started last year. What we (we being my girls and I) do is plan the day AFTER Christmas with movies from morning til' night. These are the movies on the menu and the day will begin tomorrow morning at 10:20am and the last movie starts at 10:10 pm. I can't wait for tomorrow, and I hope that my girls will join me ALL day long.

Today my Dad came to visit Lindsay and I for Christmas. It was nice to see him since the last time we'd seen each other was almost a year a go ... We hung out at my house for a bit, got caught up with life, and then went to Bob's Big Boy for lunch. I choose Bob's because it was the only place I remember eating at as a family when I was a kid. We went to Bob's Big Boy and then went and saw E.T (So that should tell you how long ago it's been and the memory I have) Anywho .... We had a great visit with my Dad and I'm so happy he came to visit.

No more Emergency Room Trips!

Last Thursday Ms. Lindsay was playing in her High School Soccer game and I got "the call" that she'd been hurt. Now, usually this requires her to come out of the game and take a break. Lindsay is sooooo in to her games, that typically she's begging to play more even if she's not 100%. But last Thursday she was in soooo much pain that the trainer told me I needed to have her ankle XRayed. We went to the ER, which was the 3rd trip there in a matter of a month and we were told more then likely she has torn ligaments. Sooooo ... tomorrow morning we're off to see the orthopedic Dr.

Lazy Sunday

Today was such a great Sunday. Lindsay went to church with me (which is always the best). I came home and took a nap, and I've watched 3 movies. I love days like this. If Corey could have been here to share the day with me it would have been perfect! This picture is from Corey's trip out here to California over Thanksgiving.
