update

Not a whole lot going on with us. I thought I'd just post a few pics just so you knew we were still here. Beckham has a new favorite toy he likes to hold and eat. His lil' giraffe that hangs from a floor mat toy. He's adopted him and loves loves loves him.

Beckham is still as fluffy as ever. He's begun to grab at things, loves to look at himself  in the mirror and try to touch his friend in the mirror, he's ALMOST rolling over, eating like a champ, and trying so hard to let you know what he's thinking. His hands are still in his mouth NON STOP!

My girlfriend brought him over a lil' horse rocker. He sat on it with some help. It won't be long until he's rockin' it himself.

I did mention he's still fluffy right ?  Case in Point

Lindsay has applied to 5 colleges. 

We've heard back from 3 of them that she's been accepted. The 3 we've heard back from are  
WEBER UNIVERSITY,  UTAH STATE and UTAH VALLEY UNIVERSITY.

We're still waiting to hear back from ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY and UNIVERSITY OF UTAH.

She's keeping her fingers crossed for Uof U. It shouldn't be much longer before we hear back from the last 2. 3 out of 5 so far isn't to bad! 

A few cards I've made this month with STAMPIN ' UP!

I've been working on a few cards this month for my stamp club. It was my turn to create a card so I choose the chocolate stamp set. It was a BIG hit ... THEY LOVED IT and I really enjoyed creating it.

and I was inspired to make this one :

Just a random picture of my lil' guy counting sheep in his swing. He's been sleeping soooo much better. He goes down at about 8:30pm at night and wakes up about 4:30am. I give him 4oz and he's right back asleep until about 8am. I can't complain... I'm loving his new sleep pattern. His naps durning the day need a lil' bit of work, but he's on a schedule and he's REALLY good about sticking with it.

I thought I'd just post random pictures of Beckham and his new experiences with baby food. He's had a rough time adjusting to the change, but he's come around. He really likes bananas, apples and sweet potatoes. The veggies have been a lil' more tricky to get him to eat, but he doesn't pass up a good meal (it just may take a few extra bites). His famous purple Bumbo seat (thank you to my friend Tennille for lending it to us) has become quite the photo spot, but I'm able to sit him in there and have my arms free. He likes being around me and just a part of whatever is going on. 

happy valentines day (all week long)

I had lost my Camera Cord so I wasn't able to upload Beckham on Valentines Day. We had a great day because Corey had surprised me (well kinda, because he ended up telling me BEFORE he got here that he had planned the trip) and came to California to spend a few days with us. I go to spend Valentines Day with BOTH of my guys. XO XO XO XO XO I decided the WHOLE week of February would be lovey dovey since I had TWO valentines.

Grub a Grub Grub

This is Beckham :

He's a typical happy go lucky 4 month old boy. He's a bit fluffy and a bit spoiled, but none the less a VERY HAPPY 4 month old. His day started out pretty good. And then it was time for the 4 month Dr. appointment today which included 2 shots. But hey ... At least he got cute band-aids, right !

Beckham is now weighing in at 18 pounds and 26 inches long. He's in the 90% for his weight and 80% for his height. I like to say he's just an over achiever. The Dr. said everything looked great and encouraged me to introduce him to food this next month. So after the Dr's appointment and a few tears from the shots we headed home for a nap, but not before the chance at some good grub.

It went well ... He did OK ... and I thought I'd give him a swig of the bottle.

A bit over dramatic with the whole leaning back as far as he could to make sure he got every drop of the 2 oz. Then ... it was over. The grub was gone and I had a very unhappy lil' guy.

Soooooo we talked a bit and came to the understanding that this change is going to take some time getting use to. I got the "yeah whatever" face along with the "just hold me lady" look.
