lots to do

We all went to Corey's softball game this past Monday. We didn't really get a chance to watch the game (I did manage to see one at bat). Beckham loved running around and playing on the park equipment. I got quite a few pictures and when I uploaded em' all I realized they were ALL of Beckham. Trust me when I say Reegan looked cute too, but she just layed in her stroller. Corey, well he looked cute too :)

After the game we went in to Salt Lake to pick up Lindsay from the shuttle. She stayed a few nights here because she had job interviews, needed to look for a car, and had an appointment at Taylor Andrews Cosmotology school. She completes her first year of college next week but she's decided to take a break from school and move home. She's looking for a full time job and will be transfering from Logan Roadhouse to the one in Orem. She wants to attend cosmotology school in January which is a year long commitment and then see where life takes her.

She purchased a car yesterday which she was pretty excited about

Happy 2 months Reegan

A visit from Cali and time with family

Michelle, Gary and Matthew came out for a visit. It was so nice to see them. We went in to Salt Lake to visit the City Creek Mall, went to Thanksgiving Point for ice cream and to see the amazing tullips, played Chicken Foot, and just got to low key it and spend time together. I sure do miss her and hate that she's in California alone (the orphan child) LOL. I'd love to have her out here some day, but I don't see that one happening.

When they made the drive, they brought Storm with them. I was/am so happy to have my dog home. Storm is now 10 1/2 yrs old and boy can I sure see the toll it's taken. He's still such a good dog tho' and he's getting a pep in his step as the days go by and he's getting out for exercise and climbing stairs.

Our Backyard and yardwork

We really wanted to get the backyard done this spring so that Beckham would have a place to go out and play (and be safe). He still LOVES being outside and with the weather we've been having there's no better place for him to be. So, the process began with Vinyl Fence coming out and putting the fence posts in, filling posts with cement, and then Corey and Kevin brought in the dirt to level out the ground.

Kevin, being the amazing BobCat driver that he is managed to only take out ONE pole (see evidence below in these 2 pictures)

The backyard got leveled, and we just needed to wait a week for the cemented in posts to take and the fence people to come back out and complete the job

During that week of waiting we got rain, no I meant hail ! And the backyard got a lil' muddy to say the least.

But sure enough the fence was completed and grass was laid down. Lots of hard work! Corey and Kevin spent the better part of 9 hours laying grass. I helped out for a lil bit, but nothing compared to what they did. It looks great, and we just need to let the seems grow together and the grass to green up.

We did a lil work to the front yard as well. We planted some flowers by the porch and dug up around the 2 trees. Kevin and Corey also took some of the extra grass and filled in an area near the street. It turned out great.

Friends

I was so sad when my friends left to go home last week. I knew I missed them, but didn't realize just how much until they arrived at my house on Monday night. Well, I thought that was when I knew I missed them until they drove off in the morning after 5 days here to go back home to California :(

We had a great week that felt like old times (with a few added bodies, diapers, and cartoons). We started off the week by going to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on Tuesday. It was thier first time there and I was happy my Mother joined us. It was a beautiful morning.

We spent the rest of Tuesday at home, hanging out and doing what we do best ... SCRABBLE TIME!

We went in to Salt Lake to visit the new mall and Temple square on Wednesday. Again, another beautiful day!

Temple Square in the spring time is just gorgeous. The flowers and trees look like a story book ...

Lil Ms. Reegan tagged along with us (Thanks Mom for keeping Beckham) for the day. She was pretty good, but not a shopper yet.

Gaylynn brought Shelby with them and her and Beckham played really well together. I think Beckham was so happy to have another "lil person" around to do cool "lil people" things with.

Shari brought Beckham a bowling game. He loved playing with it, but he doesn't like the pins to stay up. Sometimes he knocks them down FIRST and then rolls the ball (smart kid gets a strike every time)

We also did a lil Easter Egg hunt for the kids. They had fun in the front yard looking for eggs filled with candy. Beckham uses his bucket and shovel now to play in the dirt WIN WIN !
