Dress Shopping ... and a great weekend

Lindsay and I had THE BEST weekend together. It started Saturday morning when Lindsay got home. I hadn't been feeling well and she asked if I was up for going to the mall to go dress shopping. I figured "why not" it was an opportunity to spend some time together (which we don't get a lot of). Needless to say ... after 2 1/2 hours ... umpteen stores ... a dozen dressing rooms ... a few breakdowns ... Lindsay found a dress.

The dress she choose isn't ANY of the ones above. I thought I'd save the picture of the dress once she has it on with all her accessories and cute shoes.

After the mall we spent some time at my Moms for a little bit. We ended up playing the piano and cracking up at the silliest thing.

Today Lindsay and I went to my Moms ward. Lindsay has been talking to Dallin Wilcox (the son of family friends we've known since Lindsay was 5). Well ... Needless to say 11 years later and Lindsay and Dallin are now juniors, reconnected and talking again. It was nice to go to her ward and it was nice to see some old friends. We came home after wards and Lindsay and I have spend the day relaxing ... looking at old photos ... and just having a great day.

  1. oooh, I'm excited to see what she picked because the reject ones were cute!! Didn't you wear blue/teal for your prom? I can still remember the pictures we had of you on our fridge. I thought you looked SOOO awesome and loved looking at them. Especially with your bangs, the gloves and your sweet glasses. ;) Oh, how you ruled the world when I was little. You still do.
