Today is my Grandma's Birthday and I miss her so very much. She was born on March 27, 1922 and passed away on February 16, 2005. There are so many wonderful things to say about this woman. I remember her house in Whittier, California and just how neat and tidy she was. My grandparents had a patio built on to the garage and that was where Sunday dinners were. She made the best Sunday dinners with all of the trimmings. I loved taking the drive each week to go there. I also remember catching frogs around the house. They had these plants that frogs would live under. We would always catch as many as we could. We'd slip and slide in the back yard during the summer and watch Christmas movies in the patio eating nuts that we'd get to crack open ourselves. My grandparents worked at the church cleaning the building and making sure it was always looking spotless. I'd get to go and help sometimes and I just loved to be there with her. My Grandma always stayed strong and always stood firm in her ways. I always knew I could count on her, and even through some ups and downs in my horrible teenage years she was always there for me. I loved trips to Arizona and eventually took Lindsay with me for visits. I have great memories and photos that are priceless.
I wanted to take the time today to thank my Heavenly Father for giving me such an amazing gift of a Grandmother who was truly an Elect Lady. I love her so and miss her every single day.

That was sweet. Thanks, Jen.
