California Vacation & Beckham's 2nd Bday

We took our yearly trip to California the first week of October. The weather was really nice, and we had a week planned out just for family time. We stayed the first few nights at a hotel near Disneyland. I think Beckham's favorite part was the fact that the fridge in the room was just his size (and pushing the buttons on the elevator).

We headed off to Disneyland on the 3rd of October to celebrate Beckham's 2nd Birthday. We knew it would be a long day, but all in all the kids did pretty good. Reegan was a champ, and Beckham just didn't care for the lines. We got to people watch, and see alot ... Not such a great trip for the rides tho. We did manage two, and of course going to California Adventure was awesome.

We went back to the hotel and went swimming that night and ordered Beckham his Bday dinner ... PIZZA. He sat there, watched a movie & was a happy camper!

The next day we went to the Children's Museum in La Habra (down the street from my mom's old house). I had never been, and it's actually pretty neat for the kids.

My friend Jane has a Beach house in Newport Beach. She was so sweet and let us stay there for the last few nights of our trip. It's such a beautiful location RIGHT ON THE BEACH, but with two small kids and Beckham who loves to just run run run it was a bit of a challenge to really get to enjoy just sitting and relaxing while taking in the amazing view. The kids loved the sand and the water.

My friends Gaylynn, Tami, and Shari Kai came to visit. I was so happy Shari took Beckham in the water because I was not gonna do it. Beckham loved it and wasn't afraid. He had a blast.

My sister and Gary came for a day. We just hung out, had dinner, and managed a game of Scrabble.

Our trip was great! I got to visit with Trisha and Annette & thier families (why I didn't get any pictures is odd). We hung out and did dinner at Trisha's new house. Oh how I miss my friends!
My stepmom Kelly came over to the beach house for a visit. It was great to see her and of course getting to share the kids with her (again, no pics :( ... Stupid me)
Corey and I did manage one night to ourselves and went to an RSL game at The Home Depot Center. RSL beat Galaxy and it was a good game.
