Beckham oh Beckham

I have to say these past few months Beckham has really become quite the active, nosey, strong, determined, noisy, all around lil BOY. If it makes noise ... he's touching it (except for the vacuum. he HATES the vacuum). He crawls everywhere, and knows exactly where I don't want him to go because that's the first place he goes to and then repeats it over and over again. He has a smile that's contageous and the biggest blue eyes that make your heart melt.

Lindsay's Senior Prom

Lindsay hadn't been feeling very well the week before Prom. She'd been home sick, had her accident at work with cutting her thumb, and had a ruff time getting motivated for prom. I took some pictures of the scavenger hunt Cody sent her on as his way of asking her to Prom. He sent her down "memory lane" and had clues at each stop. Finally when it was the last clue leading her to his house he surprised her in the garage with flowers and a big sign asking her to Prom.

They had a fun night and they both looked great. Prom was at Club 88 in Newport Beach.

Dinner at my Mom's house

We had spent some time at my moms house during Easter. Of course I never posted pictures because I didn't have the internet for a while, and I just became a bit lazy I guess. SO ... here are a few family pics ☺

Lindsay and her boyfriend Cody

OK ... So remember from a post a while back I had mentioned Lindsay was dating Cody. These 2 have been friends all thru high school and are now finally an item. Things have been going great and Lindsay has truly been happier then ever. I think they're great together, but most of all I love seeing my daughter happy.

Spring Break in Utah

The above photo is in front of our house

The picture above was taken at USU during our personal tour.

We went to Utah this past Spring Break so that Lindsay could have a one on one personal tour of USU. We have a friend who works there and who has taken Lindsay under her wing to help make this transition less painfull and much easier for her to adapt and get a head start on college life. We had a great day and Lindsay got to see pretty much what life will consist of for the next 4 years. She's set ... All she's gotta do is show up and get her work done. She's excited and can't wait. I am very proud of her and couldn't be more thrilled that she has decided to come to Utah for college.

Happy Birthday Grandma

Today is my Grandma's Birthday and I miss her so very much. She was born on March 27, 1922 and passed away on February 16, 2005. There are so many wonderful things to say about this woman. I remember her house in Whittier, California and just how neat and tidy she was. My grandparents had a patio built on to the garage and that was where Sunday dinners were. She made the best Sunday dinners with all of the trimmings. I loved taking the drive each week to go there. I also remember catching frogs around the house. They had these plants that frogs would live under. We would always catch as many as we could. We'd slip and slide in the back yard during the summer and watch Christmas movies in the patio eating nuts that we'd get to crack open ourselves. My grandparents worked at the church cleaning the building and making sure it was always looking spotless. I'd get to go and help sometimes and I just loved to be there with her. My Grandma always stayed strong and always stood firm in her ways. I always knew I could count on her, and even through some ups and downs in my horrible teenage years she was always there for me. I loved trips to Arizona and eventually took Lindsay with me for visits. I have great memories and photos that are priceless.

I wanted to take the time today to thank my Heavenly Father for giving me such an amazing gift of a Grandmother who was truly an Elect Lady. I love her so and miss her every single day.
